Our first 5k - Submitted by Deanna
For our first 5K, my 9 year old daughter and I decided to design shirts with our team name, NOT IT!!, on the backs and our names on the front. We also designed two shirts for her step-dad and brother with their names on the front and (her idea to make them "it") WE'RE IT!! on the back. The 5K that we did was a color race where they throw colored cornstarch at you while you run. We had a blast doing it and our cheering section had a blast throwing extra color on us. I am in the process of preserving the shirts and all of their color so my daughter can remember this day for years to come. We do plan on doing another 5K in July, with a much bigger team so look forward to seeing us again soon :-)

We are the MAGIC MILERS! We are an online group of runners from all over the world. We talk daily as we prepare for running races! We run the Disney World and Disney Land races as well as run local races all over the world. We recently made these tshirts to spot each other during the Disney World half and full marathons. They were such a success in helping us find each other and meet in person for the first time along the course and during our first ever in person meet-up! We are ordering our second set right now and will have another order again before Disney Land's 1st ever DUMBO DARE races. These orange shirts are bringing our family together one race at a time! This photo is of some staff members from PB Smith Elementary in Warrenton VA, showing their support for Sydney, a former student. She was diagnosed with Leukemia in July 2011 and has been in the hospital waiting for a bone marrow transplant. I am the Captain of a Relay for Life team called Sydney's Supporters. We are walking in her honor. Our team decided to have shirts made up that say "Supporting Sydney" as a fundraiser for the people in our town to wear and show their support for Sydney. We have declared every Thursday as Orange Day and anyone who has the shirt is asked to wear it. We are trying to Paint The Town of Warrenton Orange. :)

Thank you for supporting our Breast Cancer Awareness Game Night. Our Powderpuff players looked great in their shirts you provided. We raised a total of $490 for the Cause! The funds were equally donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation and to the American Cancer Society through NFL Pink Crucial Catch from the Warren Hills Jr. Streaks Football Association. I am a proud member of Team Diabetes Canada which is a national activity fundraising program for the Canadian Diabetes Association. It promotes a healthy and active lifestyle to all Canadians while raising funds for the provision of education and services and while advocating for our cause and breaking ground toward a cure.

Everyone on the boat loved it--especially after they realized how much my cousin looks like my aunt in the photo! Like most grandmothers, my mom wants a family picture when we're together, but don't even think about dragging us to a studio when we're on vacation! Matching t-shirts with the family name, place, date, and a boating logo gave Nana the 'together look' she asks of us. Designing the shirts was easy, with several choices for layout, font colors, shirt colors, and icons. My stepdaughter has had a great group of people at her rehabilitation hospital that have helped her get to the point where she will be able to come home to us soon. One therapist in general used the "Six Million Dollar Man" phrase "Better, Stronger, Faster" about Alyssa and how hard she has worked. We thought it would be a tribute to him and Alyssa both to buy one of your great shirts that tells the story of her heart and determination. While she has a long road ahead, she inspires us every day, and you have truly made a great shirt for my hero. Thanks Very Much!
