Q. What is the difference between Brown Duck and Sandstone?

• Brown Duck is a tightly woven canvas fabric made of 100% ring-spun cotton. Sandstone is the very same fabric that has been treated using a process called micro-sanding that results in a much softer hand or almost a brushed look to the fabric.

Q. What is the difference in the linings?

• Artic Quilt - Nylon taffeta quilted to a layer of high loft polyester batting... ensures maximum warmth when it is to cold for anything else.
• Quilt Flannel - 100% brushed polyester tricot quilted to polyester batting provides softness and warmth without layering.
• Blanket - Non-Bulky acrylic/polyester blended to provide a layer of warmth on those cold mornings.
• Thermal - 100% polyester raschel knit adds an extra layer of comfort and warmth in cool weather.

Extremes® Coat / Arctic Quilt Lined

Extreme conditions call for extreme measures. In this case, the Carhartt Extreme Coat. A 1000-denier Cordura® nylon coat that's water-repellent and nylon-quilted with arctic-weight polyester insulation. A corduroy collar features under-collar snaps for an optional hood. There are two chest pockets and two front pockets outside and two pockets inside. It's designed with a split back with bi-swing and pleated elbows for easier movement on the job. Rib-knit storm cuffs and an inside elastic waist drawcord keep wind and cold out.

Sandstone Duck Chore Coat - Blanket Lined

Made of 12-ounce 100% cotton sandstone duck. Warm blanket lining in the body. Smooth, quilted nylon lining in the sleeves. A corduroy top collar features under collar snaps to attach an optional hood. Inside are patch pockets. Outside are four more handy patch pockets: two large front and two chest. The right chest pocket is flapped and the left chest pocket has a leather Carhartt logo patch. The Chore Coat is constructed with rugged triple-stitched main seams and metal rivets. Split back design with bi-swing allows easier stretch and reach on the job.

Sandstone Traditional Coat Arctic Quilt Lined

This heavyweight 12-ounce 100% cotton sandstone duck features arctic-weight quilted nylon polyester lining for terrific warmth. Rib-knit storm cuffs do a good job of keeping the cold out. The corduroy collar has under collar snaps to accommodate an optional hood. A brass zipper front is wind-flapped and has hook-and-loop closures. There are two inside pockets, two flapped chest pockets, and two deep hand-warmer-style main pockets. Main seams are triple-stitched. And a split-back with bi-swing design plus pleated elbows makes for exceptional ease of movement.

Duck Traditional Coat / Arctic Quilt Lined

Ready for the cold! Tough 12-ounce, top quality cotton duck lined with nylon quilted arctic-weight polyester insulation. The collar is a handsome corduroy with under collar snaps to accommodate an optional hood. Plenty of room with two flapped outside chest pockets, two inside pockets, and two large outside pockets. On-the-job testing insures great wear resistance at triple-stitched main seams and all key areas. Split back with bi-swing and pleated elbows insures easy movement.

Sizes: Regular 36-50; Big: 52-60; Tall: 40-54.

Carhartt Sandstone Ridge Coat/Sherpa Lined

12-ounce 100% cotton sandstone coat lined throughout the body in extra-warm Sherpa. Quilted nylon polyester provides insulation for the sleeves. A collar in a contrasting color adds to the great looks. Under the collar are snaps for an optional hood. There are two inside pockets, two hand-warmer-style outside pockets, and a vertically-zippered left chest pocket. Rib-knit storm cuffs and triple-stitched main seams are also features. And a split back with bi-swing and pleated elbows contribute to exceptional ease of movement.

This heavyweight 12-ounce 100% top quality cotton duck vest features our warmest arctic-weight quilted nylon polyester lining. To add to the warmth there's a snug fitting rib-knit collar and, in back, a drop tail. Other features include a front zipper with wind flap, a convenient inside patch pocket with hook-and-loop closure, and large front hand-warmer-style pockets. The Duck Vest provides both warmth and arm-free ease of movement.
