When shopping for custom embroidered dress shirts, you will undoubtedly see the term “wrinkle resistant” attached to many different styles of shirts. There have always been a few misconceptions when it comes to wrinkle resistant dress shirts and we are here to clear those up.
Modern wrinkle resistant dress shirts are great looking and even perform better than their older variations. In the past, wrinkle resistant shirts would save you time ironing after every wash, but still need to be ironed once in a while, but today wrinkle resistant shirts can be pulled directly from the dryer and worn without worry. On top of not having to be ironed, modern wrinkle resistant shirts can be worn all day without showing signs of creases.
Wrinkle Resistant dress shirts also come in a wide variety of different fabrics. It is true that in the past, many were made of polyester or other synthetic fabrics, but modern wrinkle resistant shirts can be made of cotton, cotton-poly blend, or even classic oxford. This means that when you purchase wrinkle-resistant dress shirts, they will look just as natural as your traditional cotton dress shirts.
When you are looking for the perfect dress shirt to customize your company’s logo or personal monogram, think of the added convenience and time saved you’ll get with wrinkle resistant dress shirts. Get started by picking your shirt, uploading your logo or design into our free Online Designer and we will take care of the rest.

Being a large man no longer means you cannot be well dressed in proper fitting clothes. Many men think that wearing baggy or oversized clothes will help them conceal their body’s form, but poor fitting clothes actually bring attention to the areas they are trying to hide. With these tips, we hope to help big and tall guys feel comfortable buying clothes that look as good as they feel. Proper fitting custom big & tall clothing is important to obtaining the perfect look.
Perfect the Fit
If the clothes you are wearing are ill-fitting, whether they are too big or too small, you run the risk of looking sloppy. On bigger guys, the effect is multiplied because it can bring unwanted attention to areas of your body or give an overall impression that you do not care about how you present yourself.
Before buying new clothes, it is always recommended to measure yourself. This is because every brand is slightly different when it comes to their sizing and not knowing exactly how long your arms are or how big your chest is can cause you to buy something that won’t fit right. Every piece of apparel on our site has a size chart supplied by the manufacturer that will let you know exactly how big the shirt or jacket you are interested in is. If you are taller than 6’2”, make sure you look for taller sizes, normally displayed with a “T” at the end. Sizes like “XLT” or “2XLT” will have longer arms and longer torso to accommodate your height.
Keep It Simple
Dress simple. It’s as easy as that. Solid colors and classic styles make it easy to build a wardrobe that will look great for any occasion. This goes for casual items like t-shirts and polos all the way to office necessities like button down dress shirts and jackets. Keep patterns to a minimum. Thin stripes are fine, but avoid horizontal lines or busy graphics. Although dark colors also help you appear slimmer and should be staples in your closet, don’t be afraid of bright, bold colors especially when it comes to dress shirts and polos. A splash of color keeps your wardrobe fresh and trendy. See what colors are trending in 2014 that are available in big and tall sizes.
Thick, heavy materials are notorious for adding extra, unwanted bulk to your clothes. This also means your body temperature will rise causing you to sweat and/or become uncomfortable.
This is where lightweight materials like broadcloth become very important. Broadcloth dress shirts are significantly lighter weight then pinpoint or twill dress shirts and also leave you with a crisp, smoother appearance. Oxford dress shirts are also considered lightweight. Oxford dress shirts start off a bit rougher to the touch than broadcloth, but become softer over time.
Material isn’t the only factor that is important when it comes to finding the right shirt for your body type. Spread collars on dress shirts allow you to wear a much larger knot when you are wearing a tie, but the extra width also helps your face appear more proportional to the rest of your body.
Add A Jacket
I know this may not seem like a tip during the winter, but during the spring and fall, adding a jacket can really upgrade your look. A light, dark colored jacket can add extra shape to your look and give your body more defined lines. Soft shell jackets are perfect for the spring and fall due to their outstanding thinness to warmth ratio. Looking for a more rugged look? Try a work jacket from brands like Carhartt or Dickies. Both companies offer big and tall sizes in most of their jackets and many styles come in darker colors.
With so many options available to you and even more coming in the future, adding style to a big and tall wardrobe has never been easier. Make sure to follow these small tips to help you look great and stay comfortable.

It wasn’t long ago that choosing a big and tall size meant that you could only pick from two or three different colors. For most custom apparel this meant you were relegated to white, black and a shade of blue. While this worked for some people, it left many others hoping for more colorful options. We are here to announce the wait is over!
As custom big and tall clothing is becoming more popular, brands are designing more and more apparel in these new sizes and are trying to offer the same lineup that they do in their traditional sizes. This means not cutting corners of quality, fit or color. And this doesn’t mean just t-shirts; this applies to dress shirts, polos, jackets, sweats, workwear and more. No matter what style of apparel you adhere to, you will be able to find the right size in any color you need.
These new splashes of color make it easier to stay both comfortable and stylish. Because darker colors were once the only choices for bigger men, it was harder to dress for the seasons. Now with a full palette of colors available, you can wear the pastel blues and greens in spring, bright yellows and reds during the summer and more muted maroon and oranges during the fall. All of these color choices help bring a traditional suit, blazer or khakis to a more updated style.
Trying to design custom uniforms for your business or restaurant? Now you can find the colors to match your business’ branding for everyone on your staff. Polos and knit shirts are the most popular style when it comes to designing staff uniforms and in certain styles you will have up to 28 different color options in big and tall sizes. With this type of selection, it’s easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. Are you looking for something a little more casual that’s perfect for the golf course or a relaxing weekend? Nike Golf has multiple styles of golf polos that come in many colors that can be worn all year round.
Now that you know that color is no option for big & tall customers; you can start shopping. Start with our wide selection of sportswear, casual and corporate Custom Big & Tall Clothing offered in a variety of style choices and start designing the perfect apparel for your needs. How your clothes fit is very important and some will argue that no one knows this better than those who rely on big and tall or plus size apparel. There are only a few things worse than having to settle on poor fitting clothes due to the size you wear. But what if you didn’t know if you were considered big, tall or big and tall? We hope to clear up some misconceptions and shine some much needed light on the concept of Big & Tall Clothing.
Let’s start off with the distinct difference between “big” and “tall” sizes when it comes to finding the right clothes. A “big” man has larger measurements though the neck, shoulders and chest. A “tall” man is normally 6’2” or taller and has longer arms and torso. Now this isn’t set in stone, but these basic classifications can help you determine whether or not you are considered to be “big” or “tall.”
For big guys, finding clothes that fit has always been a struggle but this year many brands have been expanding their larger sizes to accommodate the expanding customer base that are demanding the same apparel options as their smaller counterparts. This means companies are moving their bigger sizes from just t-shirts to options like polos, dress shirts, jackets and more. This means that your entire wardrobe can be overhauled in a size that fits properly without making compromises. Larger men can also be assured that they aren’t choosing fit over quality. All “big” sizes are made with the same material and high-quality construction as any other item on the market.
Tall guys have a whole different list of issues when it comes to shopping for the right clothes. Finding shirts that fall properly below their waist and have sleeves that reach their wrists is normally high on their priority lists, but often fall back on wearing shirts untucked and rolling their sleeves up to hide the fact they aren’t long enough. This makes looking professional very difficult and that’s where tall sizes come into play. Most “tall” sizes add a few extra inches to the torso and sleeves, meaning they will fit properly even if you are well above six feet.
What if you are one of the many people who are considered to “big” and “tall” by these measurements? That’s no problem. There are many types of apparel that comes in “big” sizes like 3XL that are also “tall.” Look for sizes that are MT up to 5XLT to make sure your clothing is going to fit perfectly. These items will have the extra room in the body, as well as the extra length in the torso and sleeves to make sure it fits right everywhere.

The temperatures are starting to drop and that means our attentions are moving from t-shirts and sweatshirts and on to jackets. This means finding the right combination of style, warmth and versatility. The best way to get the most use out of a single jacket is to find the perfect soft shell jacket.
Soft shell jackets started becoming popular in the past 3 to 4 years when brands like Patagonia and Eddie Bauer started designing jackets that were just as warm as their traditional down jackets, but not nearly as heavy or bulky. This was perfect for those who need to keep themselves protected from the cold, but wanted something that they could wear all the time without having to take off their jacket to sit down at a restaurant or coffeeshop to be comfortable.
Soft shell jackets utilize a few great materials to maximize the way they trap internal heat while blocking out the cold weather to keep you comfy even in the worst conditions. The shell, or outside of the jacket, are made of wind and water resistant polyester that is tightly woven to deliver a perfect fit while maintaining breathability. The interior of most soft shell jackets are a designed with a soft fleece-like material that is thin enough to accommodate extra layers like sweatshirts, but warm enough to be comfortable without extra layering. Add on a strong zipper and the option of a hood and this jacket becomes your go to all-season jacket. From spring rains to winter snow, a soft shell jacket can get the job done.
With soft shell jackets being so popular, it didn’t take long for brands to offer specific ladies versions of their jackets. Ladies have the benefits of a more feminine cut, shorter arms and body and a wide range of colors geared towards women.
Soft shell jackets offer many features that aren’t available in many other styles that you won’t believe you lived without. Many jackets offer venting or mesh breathability in the under arms to keep you cool if your body temperatures starts to rise while hiking or biking. Insulated zippered pockets allow you to keep your valuables safe from any moisture and your hands warm when you need a bit of extra protection. For high comfort levels, stretchy fabrics allow the jacket to fit like a glove, letting you forget you are wearing a jacket at all. Add in soft fleece lining and this jacket may get more wear time than your favorite t-shirt!
Now that you are an expert in soft shell jackets, take a few minutes to find the perfect soft shell jacket for your needs. Whether you are looking to buy for your entire company or just yourself, the right soft shell jacket is waiting for you. Choose from top brand names like: Eddie Bauer, Patagonia, Columbia, Callaway, Devon & Jones and more. We make it easy for you to co-brand your corporate jackets with these top name brands when you upload your own logo or artwork into our online designer and create a custom jacket that all your employees will love to wear. Designing your new jacket is easy and can be done in just a few minutes. If you decide you don’t want a customized jacket, many of our jackets can be bought without decoration – the choice is yours. Family & Friends
Giving gifts to the ones closest to you can sometimes be a challenge because they mean the most to you and you want to give them the best gift possible. This year we recommend giving gifts that are not only special, but will keep them comfortably warm through the cold months ahead.
Jackets are one of those items that all of us have and depending on where you live in the country, some jackets may get significantly more use than others. With a wide array of jackets ranging from lightweight soft shell jackets to sub-zero down jackets, the perfect jacket is always available for your loved ones. This year, the most popular jackets have been fleece-lined soft shell jackets. These jackets are lightweight and have a slimmer profile, but can keep you warm in even the coldest temperatures. With water-repellant shells, you won’t have to be worried about getting wet if snow or sleet starts to fall.
Sweatshirts offer many of the same benefits as jackets, but allow you much more flexibility when it comes to personalizing them. Sweatshirts come in styles to suit everyone — the hoodie (go to staple for younger family members), the traditional or crewneck sweatshirt (never goes out of style) and zipper front (from quarter zip to full zip).
Blankets are a popular holiday gift because they can be used in so many situations and are a great gift for almost everyone on your list. Super soft and super warm fleece blankets are easy to carry, can be stowed anywhere and are always useful in the house, at the game or even in the car on long trips to visit family for the holidays. Fleece blankets come in many different colors and styles, so no one’s tastes are left out. Employee & Corporate
Holiday gift giving for business and corporations has grown tremendously over the past few years. In the past, many companies gave out logo branded mugs, pen sets and small items but more recently these gifts have upgraded to soft shell and fleece jackets, sweaters, dress shirts and even tech accessories. These items are seen as being a much higher quality and can be worn and used around the office after the holidays come to an end.
Soft shell and fleece jackets are great solutions for those businesses that have people traveling for work or just want to keep their employees comfortable at their desk. Both styles of jackets are light enough to wear indoors but warm enough to be worn outside without having to switch to a much bigger jacket. Soft shell and fleece jackets also allow for you to have separate men’s and ladies’ cuts of the same jacket. This means everyone has a jacket that fits perfectly.
Sweaters and dress shirts are great for the corporate work environment that demands a higher standard of in office clothing, but still allows employees to feel appreciated. Sweaters and dress shirts with the company or brand logo not only make great gifts for your employees, but also great gifts for clients and vendors during the holiday season. These are considered very high value gifts because they are not limited to just the holiday season or certain times of the year, these gifts can be worn 365 days a year.

Being a fan is a lot of hard work. It takes hours of planning each week to make sure your schedule is cleared for game time, the food is ready and your favorite shirt is clean…or dirty if that’s your superstition.
Your favorite shirt is the key to winning. Every fan knows that. But why spend hundreds of dollars on a team jersey with a player’s name on the back that may not be there next season. Why not design a custom fan jersey that’s truly unique!
Choose from hundreds of different jersey styles and colors on TeamSportswear, including football, baseball, basketball, hockey jerseys and more. Finding a jersey that fits your needs and matches your team’s color can be done with ease.
Step 1: Pick Your Jersey Style. Are you gearing up for the World Series, than pick from our inventory of baseball jerseys. Choose from professional looking full button-down jerseys, v-neck pull over jerseys or classic ¾ sleeve t-shirts. Football fans also have many options to choose from. For most people, the Overtime jersey is the best bet for custom fan jerseys. It looks and feels like a traditional football jersey, unlike many new professional jerseys that are very snug and not quite as comfortable.
Step 2: Design Your Jersey. While using a team’s official name and logo is not possible due to licensing agreements, you can still design using your team’s colors or informal nicknames. Recently, many people have been designing their custom jerseys with their team’s favorite Twitter hashtag. This means things like #GetBeard for the Red Sox fans and #StLCards for Cardinals fans. Other design ideas come from social networks, fan sites and message boards where other fans are sharing clever or unique ideas. Don’t have an idea? That’s ok, we offer thousands of great free design templates.
Step 3: Share Your Design. Now that your design has been finished and your order has been placed, you can share your design with friends and family. Many people like to post their new creation on Facebook and Twitter to show off their new jersey and show support for their team. Create a fun post and show it off!
Step 4: Wear It With Pride. The last thing to do with your custom fan jersey is to put it on and wear it with pride. Whether you’re heading to the tailgate and game, the bar to join friends or just setting up on the couch with some snacks with family; show off your team pride with your new, personalized fan jersey.
Now that you know the steps, start designing your custom fan jersey at TeamSportswear and find the one that you will love to wear for years to come.

As many of us know, supporting a cause very near and dear to us is fulfilling, but rarely ever easy. And finding the best way to raise money is sometimes difficult and overwhelming. Planning large gatherings like Relay Walks or 5Ks take a lot of upfront planning to make sure things go smoothly.
The first step is to determine what type of fundraiser will best suit your needs. Are you looking to bring people together for an event? Raise awareness for your cause? Find additional funding? Why not combine all three? An event can bring people together, raise awareness and bring in additional funding.
Follow these five steps to help make your event a success.
1. Plan Ahead
Timeline: 6-8 months in advance
First, plan ahead. Make sure before you start spending money or sending out invitations you know exactly how everything is going to work. This means big details like where the event is taking place and how many people it can accommodate down to small details like amount of available restrooms and whether you need to feed volunteers. Once you have all the details sorted out and on paper you can begin spreading the word.
2. Spread the Word
Timeline: 6 months in advance
There are many great ways to market your event and make sure as many people as possible will attend. If your audience is mostly comprised of working adults, than advertising in local newspapers, flyers and e-mail will be the best way to get your fundraising event info to a large group of people in a small amount of time.
If your group may skew slightly younger than social media is king. Creating a Facebook page and/or event will ensure that many people from the age of 13 to their mid-30s will be sure to see information about event. This will also give people a way to share your fundraising event with all their friends and family at the same time, spreading the word of your event quickly. Being active on social media will help you stay connected with your community and build engagement with your supporters. (more…)
