We solicit your customer feedback whenever we can. We follow-up every order that gets shipped with an email asking customers about their experience. We then send employees every customer comment that relates to their work, good or bad, so that they can see how their efforts directly affect customer satisfaction. It is a shame that Tiger Woods will have to sit out the rest of the golf season to mend his knee. I will miss watching him, especially at the last two majors of the year, the British Open and the PGA Championship. Watching Tiger grind and gut it out to win the U.S. Open just adds to his legend–not only in golf but in all of sport. His incredible mental toughness and grounded, caring personality is a huge asset to Nike, a company whose mission is to align itself with winning athletes and products.
Tiger’s unmatched mental strength is passed down by his late father, Earl Woods. In Nike’s new ad that aired last weekend during the Open, Earl tells Tiger “that you’ll never meet another person as mentally tough as you in your entire life.’ And he hasn’t. And he never will.” The timing was amazing given Tiger’s performance down the stretch. You can view the ad on Utube.

The big trend in the LogoSportswear market is getting back to mother nature. New earth friendly organic shirts, caps and bags have hit the market and are made from 100% organic cotton–containing no chemical bleaches or dyes.
So what does “organic” mean? The term defines the process of growing and processing a variety of agricultural products, including food and fibers, without the use of poison fertilizers and pesticides.
About 1/3 of a pound of chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used to produce a single pound of conventionally grown cotton fabric and much of these chemicals find their way into the soil, air, water and the food we eat, adversely affecting our life. Organic apparel is grown without chemical fertilizers and is colored using organic dyes.
Our research indicates that companies haven’t considered purchasing organic apparel because they perceive a significant cost increase. That has all changed and switching from non-organic to organic
is now not only relatively inexpensive but also great for the environment.
